Research Report
A research report is an update of ongoing research of national or international significance. This is an article providing the preliminary findings of a new study. The maximum allowable word count is 4000 words. The reference list is limited to no more than 30 entries and up to 3 data elements. One of the two provided templates should be used depending on the adopted research strategy (quantitative or qualitative).
Book Review
ESGJ publishes reviews of books, reports, training materials, films, and other material related to old age and the aging process. These publications should relate to old age and aging's national, international, social, and cultural context. The maximum allowable word count is 1500 words. The reference list is limited to 15 entries and up to 2 data elements - tables and figures.

In this section we publish reviews, conference proceedings, reports on scientific undertakings, information on scientific promotions, bibliographies of gerontologists, interviews.

According to Art. 13, paragraphs 1 and 2 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of individual persons about the processing of personal data and the free movementofsuchdataandrepealingDirective95/46/EC(from now on: "EUGDPR[Pol. RODO]"), we at this moment inform that:
- The WSB University in Dąbrowa Górnicza, located at 1c, Cieplaka Street, 41-300 Dąbrowa Górnicza, controller roller of your data (from now on: "Controller");
- The WSB University Inspector for Data Protection can be contacted at 1c Cieplaka Street, 42-300 Dąbrowa Górnicza, or by e-mail: iod@wsb.edu.pl
- Your data will be processed to submit papers for publication, carry out the anonymous review process, and correspondence with authors concerning the documents submitted by them. The legal basis for personal data processing is Article 6, section 1, letter "a" of GDPR: consent to processing personal data. The consent can be withdrawn at any time without providing reasons by sending an e-mail to: wydawnictwo@wsb.edu.pl
- The legal basis for the processing of the data is Art. 6, paragraph 1, point (a), Art. 9, paragraph 1, point (a), of the EU GDPR (i.e., your informed consent to the processing of your data);
- Providing your data is voluntary but necessary to achieve the goals specified in point (3).
- Personal data will be made available to the WSB University employees authorized for that purpose and, in justified cases, to the journal's partners in the scope necessary to carry out editorial work. Other recipients of your data can be entities providing IT services with whom the WSB University has signed a contract under which they become the processor of personal data and commodities entitled to receive the data based on law.
- About the processing of data for the purposes specified in point (3), sub-point (1), and (2)*, your data will not be transferred to a third country / international organization unless the Controller's legal obligationsController'swill requires it be processed and stored for a period not exceeding that necessary for the purpose set out in point 3 but not longer than beyond the deadline needed for the office and archival instruction and by the uniform material list of files of the WSB University.
- You have the right to access your data and the right to demand rectification, erasure of personal data (where legally permissible), restriction of processing, portability of the data; the right to object, and the right to withdraw your consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.
- You have the right to complain to a supervisory body, i.e., the President of the Office for Personal Data Protection, should you decide that processing personal data concerning your person violates the provisions of the EUGDPR.
- It is not envisaged that personal data should be processed for purposes other than the purpose for which personal data were collected;
- About the implementation of the objectives specified in point (3), sub-points (1), and (2), your data will not be processed in an automated manner, including profiling.
