The following takes a closer look at some essential aspects of the ethical meaning of support in the light of reflection and experiences of women who represented three generations of the same family. This research's primary goal is to understand the nature and meaning of support and what support means for supportive and supported persons. This specific research is conducted which reference to inter-generational dialogue. This exploration into the meaning of support concerns the relation between commonly accepted and professionally developed concepts of support and personal and intimate experience of being in supportive relation. In the center of reflection are located personal, social, and axiological aspects of support experience.
