The article presents selected issues concerning the European Union's pro-senior policy and the use of EU funds, the so-called earmarked funds from cohesion policy. The forms and support tools available in projects implemented with EU funds in the Piła district were also presented, and their effectiveness was analyzed based on available information directly from the project documentation. This publication also attempts to make a critical review of resources supporting the elderly in the Piła district. The research technique used in the qualitative procedure was the analysis of the content of the projects described on the websites of the institutions implementing the projects.
