Abstract

This article's subject is one of Netflix's series - Grace and Frankie (2015-2017). The show is a voice against the lack of older women in social and media space and discrimination and exclusion regarding the elders' culture and dignity. The purpose of the topic is to attract attention to the media's role, including popular TV series, presenting ways and possibilities to experience aging well, promoting and supporting successful and positive aging, and counteracting old age's negative stereotypes. The show in question can constitute appealing forms of media's social education, perfectly fitting the current pro-elderly policy.
