Knowledge, kindness, and honesty. About community in times of crisis
Abstract
The article presents a reflection on the current condition of humanity and civilization. The democratic system, whose patterns and values date back to ancient Greece, is in deep crisis. Nowadays, we can talk about the decline or disappearance of the values that have guided humanity for centuries. That is why world reconstruction based on values such as knowledge, kindness, and honesty is so important. Educational institutions, such as schools and universities, should play a particular role in restoring these values and shaping the ability to think critically.
