Creating an educational environment in late adulthood from the perspective of older adults

Abstract

The article aims to analyze, from the perspective of people over 60, the ways of creating an educational environment in older age. The study involved 224 participants, and data was obtained using an interview questionnaire. Based on the answers given by the respondents, it can be said that they perceive their activity in creating conditions for learning mainly in three areas: a) developing (maintaining as long as possible) independence; b) generativity addressed to family members, and c) building good relationships with God. The respondents describe themselves as people devoting relatively little attention to artistic creation, rest, physical activity, developing interests, and taking action for other people who are not members of their families.
