Abstract

The last decade of the 20th century is when the inhabitants of the old continent began to notice the importance of the problem of aging as a significant social problem. An exciting concept for dealing with this issue is the idea of active aging. The author assumes that the effectiveness of this process depends mainly on the degree of involvement of older people in personal development. The article's primary purpose is to show that through workshops and training focused on communication skills, older people can have a tangible impact on improving family, intergenerational and social relationships. They become communicative, allowing them to actively and consciously take care of their bio-psycho-social well-being in the name of superior value.
