Balance is essential in the performance of activities of daily living in the elderly. It is often a disturbance in diseases such as stroke, Alzheimer’s, and Parkinson’s disease. It seems necessary to assess the risk of falling in the elderly. One of the tools is the Tinetti scale. It is estimated static and dynamic balance, which is particularly important to the process of rehabilitation. It allows you to plan the process of therapy and evaluate the obtained results. This is consistent with the guidelines contained in the WHO International Classification of Functioning, Disability, and Health (ICF).
