Abstract

The article deals with the topic of supporting the elderly in Poland. The text presents selected aspects of this issue: the problem of an aging society, Poles' attitude towards seniors, senior policy, the issue of family and institutional care over the elderly. The article also contains recommendations on helping the oldest members of society.
