Abstract
The article presents the profile of Professor Brunon Synak, an outstanding scientist and researcher who focused on the sociology of aging and social gerontology, among other topics. The article presents his professional and scientific achievements and his international academic career. The article also portrays Professor Synak as someone who can collaborate, support others in their scientific development, and inspire them to do research.
