Demographic old age is a feature of most modern societies, including Polish. A significant proportion of older people in the general population structure is associated with providing them with the best possible quality of life, which is facilitated, i.e., by educational activity. The article presents the results of qualitative research on the functioning of the UTA and other forms of education for older adults in Warmia and Mazury. The study aimed to determine what educational activities these institutions undertake and to indicate the most essential effects of UTA activities. Document examination, interviews with representatives of the surveyed institutions, and participatory observation were used. Based on the conducted research, it can be concluded that in the analyzed region, there are many different initiatives in the field of education of older people, which have a positive impact on older people using the offer of institutions dealing with educational activities (these people develop in many spheres of life, satisfy the need for self-fulfillment, experience well-being and they are actively, successfully and positively aging) and on the life of local communities (social, intra- and intergenerational integration is strengthened). Therefore, supporting these actors and promoting their activities among older people who still need to start using educational services is necessary.
