Forum Scientiae Oeconomia (e-ISSN 2353-4435) is an international open-access scholarly journal published on a quarterly basis by the Faculty of Applied Sciences of WSB University (Dąbrowa Górnicza, Poland). The journal is available to readers free of charge, with all published content provided in full open access. No article processing charges (APCs) are levied on authors.

FSO publishes contemporary research in the field of economic sciences, with a particular focus on the management of economic systems and organisations under conditions of structural transformation, digitalisation, and sustainable development. The journal’s thematic scope encompasses the analysis of socio-economic processes, mechanisms for enhancing efficiency and adaptability, as well as tools for optimisation and decision-making in environments characterised by high uncertainty and non-linear dynamics. In line with international academic standards, FSO adopts an interdisciplinary approach that integrates economic research with management studies, social and legal perspectives, and quantitative and analytical methods.

The international character of the journal is reflected in the multinational composition of the Editorial Team and Editorial Board, as well as in the participation of authors and reviewers representing a broad range of international academic and research institutions. FSO seeks to foster scholarly dialogue and to disseminate up-to-date research findings that are relevant to both the academic community and practitioners engaged in economic and organisational development.

The high quality of published content is ensured through a mandatory double-blind peer-review process. All submitted manuscripts are evaluated by independent experts with recognised academic expertise in the relevant fields, thereby ensuring scientific integrity, methodological rigour, and the practical relevance of the published research.
