Abstract
This article analyses the impact of the energy transition on international security,
with a focus on the actions of the European Union and NATO. It discusses mechanisms
for supply diversification, the development of renewable energy sources, the
protection of critical infrastructure and the threats posed by raw material dependence.
The strategic importance of synergies between energy policy and security is
highlighted, pointing to the growing role of transatlantic cooperation in building
resilience to geopolitical threats.
