Authors wishing to submit to Security Forum should prepare manuscripts in English and follow the guidelines below. All submissions are made via the journal’s OJS online portal. Manuscripts must be original, not previously published or under consideration elsewhere, and within the journal’s scope.
Manuscript Structure:
- Title page: title of the article, names of all authors, affiliations (with country) and ORCID iDs, and corresponding author’s contact.
- Abstract: 150–250 words, summarizing the problem, methods, results and conclusions.
- Keywords: 4–6 terms.
- Main text: Use an academic tone. Include Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, Conclusion (or similar headings).
- Acknowledgments (if any), Funding statement (grant numbers), Author Contributions (CRediT taxonomy), Conflict of Interest declaration, and Data Availability statement.
- References: Include DOI for each reference where available.
Formatting:
- Submit in editable .docx format, with 12-pt Times New Roman font, 1.5 line spacing, and 2.5 cm margins.
- All pages should be numbered. Figures and tables should be numbered and placed at appropriate points; submit figures as separate files in highresolution.
Ethical Standards:
Authors must comply with ethical guidelines. Manuscripts will be checked for plagiarism. Plagiarism or self-plagiarism is unacceptable . All sources must be cited. Proper credit must be given for any third-party content.
AI Disclosure:
Use of artificial intelligence (AI) tools in manuscript preparation must be transparently disclosed. Authors should list any AI tools used (e.g., for language editing or data analysis), along with version and purpose. AI tools cannot be listed as authors and may only assist with non-substantive tasks (such as grammar polishing). Failure to disclose AI usage or misuse of AI (e.g. generating content) is considered a breach of publication ethics. 
Submission Fees:
Security Forum does not charge any submission or publication fees. (No APCs or page charges).
Conflict of Interest Policy
Authors must disclose any potential conflicts of interest in their manuscript. Conflicts may include financial support, employment, consultancies, stock ownership, patents, or personal relationships that could influence the work. All sources of funding and sponsorship must be declared.
Plagiarism Policy
All submissions will be screened for plagiarism. Plagiarism of text or data is not tolerated. Manuscripts found to have significant overlap with previously published work will be rejected or retracted, following COPE guidelines. We strongly recommend authors use plagiarism-detection tools prior to submission.
