Senior policy in Poland: compensation of needs and active ageing

Abstract

Poland has been experiencing a number of problems related to social and demographic changes - ageing of the society in particular. However, the national social policy for older people has just begun to form. This study presents the main trends in the said policy. It presents forms of social support aimed at older and old people, having the form of benefits and social assistance.
