Forum Scientiae Oeconomia (e-ISSN 2353-4435) is an open-access quarterly scientific journal published by the Faculty of Applied Sciences of WSB University, Dąbrowa Górnicza, Poland. It publishes economic papers with special attention to management sciences.  The journal publishes research in the field of economic sciences, with particular emphasis on the management of economic systems and organisations in the context of contemporary socio-economic transformations.

The international character of the journal is confirmed both by the multinational membership of the Editorial Team and Editorial Board as well as authors and reviewers from foreign scientific centers. A high level of content is ensured by the fact that all papers are subject to a double-blind review process by well reputable scholars who are recognized authorities in the given fields of science.

The journal is funded by the state budget under the programme of the Minister of Science and Higher Education entitled Development of Scientific Journals ("Rozwój Czasopism Naukowych"), pursuant to agreement no. RCN/SN/0103/2021/1 dated 17 December 2022.

The following tasks were carried out under the programme:

1. Upgrade of the Open Journal Systems platform (service involving modifications to the journal's existing website) – funding amount: PLN 5,600.00

2. Purchase of access to the CEEOL database (Central and Eastern European Online Library GmbH) – funding amount: PLN 1,350.00

3. Purchase of a plagiarism detection software licence – funding amount: PLN 10,000.00

4. Purchase of digital object identifiers (DOI – Digital Object Identifier) – funding amount: PLN 1,935.00

5. Language editing of articles – funding amount: PLN 25,390.00

Total funding: PLN 44,275.00
